sites listed below use proprietary algorithms that help
create a "best guess" about your real estates market
value based on public ally available information. Upgrades
and other investments into your home cannot be determined
by many of these web sites. We highly recommend you
use the information on these web sites as a rough estimate
in determining what your home is worth and hire an appraiser
for a more accurate valuation. The web sites listed

See the recent home sales trends in your neighborhood
as well as historical sales information.

Zillow.com:
Determines home values by use public data records. This
is a more controversial website that was banned in the
state of Arizona.

HouseValues.com:
This site is not very useful and acts more as a lead generator for real estate agents than actually providing instant real estate value information.

ABC: This website is pretty useful. It
allows you to select comparable homes in your neighborhood
in order to determine a more accurate assessment.

Reply.com: Reply.com has a nice clean interface but I was slightly frustrated with the time it took to pull up information from it's database. Sometimes links worked well while others would not. What we do appreciate most about this site is the "honesty factor". The site provides a confidence rating regarding the accuracy of their appraisal.

This site provides home value information, demographic
information about your neighborhood including education,
finances, and industry employment.

In addition to home value, HomeGain.com provides market
and census data. Over all the prices seem to be in market
value range.
