Seattle Rental Costs to Expect:


  Deposit - to help protect landlords and property owners from damage caused by tenants.

  Application fee - Covers the cost of credit checks and other administrative fees.

 Pet Deposits - Some home owners require pet deposit or fees associated with pets due to damage caused by animals to the property.

  Move In Fee - Some properties require a move-in fee. This fee covers the labor involved with putting up and taking down protective padding in elevators and other areas of the building. This is generally assessed by the building association.
